History
About the Restaurant
Walnut Circle Grill was established on November 7, 2002 in downtown Hattiesburg. Although rich in history, the area had fallen to neglect while the city expanded westward. The vision of the McElroy family was to revitalize historic downtown Hattiesburg. The family remodeled a dilapidated ice creamery into the beautiful restaurant you see today. The McElroy’s used the original beams and brickwork to create a rustic and warm atmosphere. The casual dining environment is perfect for any occasion. The covered courtyard is great year round, complete with misters for those hot summer days and heaters for chilly nights.
