| Serengeti |
This week our featured wines are from South Africa: .
Serengeti Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot. An outstanding blend of Cabernet Sauvignon for dark, blackcurrant flavors and rich tannins, married with 30% Merlot for a fruity, plumy, violet nose and full finish. Well- balanced with firm acidity. Cabernet Sauvignon wines can be slightly hollow-tasting in the middle palate and Merlot with its generous, fleshy fruit flavours acts as a perfect foil by filling in this cavity Serengeti Sauvignon Blanc. These grapes are selected from the cool sea-facing hills of Stellenbosch. Medium body, high acidity and complex layers of citrus, grapefruit, gooseberry and lime with a dry finish. A versitile food partner. Cost for both wines per bottle: $29 |

two solo CDs, the latin jazz and fusion project, Talamasca, and his
first solo disc, Territorial Imperative also garnered rave reviews.

Comments and suggestions are welcomed!
I have been so enormously touched at the human spirit, to see people
reaching out to help others and to make things better by hard work and
sheer determination! Like so many of you, my heart goes out to those
whose lives will be forever changed by Hurricane Katrina, and I am
humbled by the courage and love that I've witnessed. It is this fighting
spirit, combined with our faith, that makes our nation strong.
