Live After Five returns
to Historic Downtown Hattiesburg for the month of October!
Live After Five is held at the Town Square Park at the corner of
Main and Buschman.
Each Fri. during October 5 - 8 p.m.
Live music, great food and fun for the entire family.
Concerts are free and open to the public, bring your lawn chair
and enjoy the music.

Oct. 3, The Bluerunners! are rooted
in the Cajun music and Creole zydeco of their home turf in
Layfayette, Louisiana, as well as the gutbucket blues and
country that form the musical language of the South.
Oct. 10, T-Bone Pruit has charmed and entertained
generations of fans here in South Mississippi, his style of down
home blues makes him a Hattiesburg favorite.
Oct 17, Washboard Chaz, acoustic blues sound with a bit
of New Orleans flavor thrown in brings new life to classic blues
favorites.
Oct 24, New Orleans Klezmer Allstars have their own
version of Jewish folk music fused with other styles - different
rock and jazz sounds, bluegrass, even surf music and avant
interpretations.
Oct. 31, Lloyd 'Hurricane' Munn, known for his Buffett to
Blues range of tunes, will play all your favorites for a fun
sing-along and dancing

Free Downtown Shuttle Service is
being offered Sat. Oct. 4, and during all USM home games.
Travel to and from the downtown area throughout the entire
game. Shuttle will continue to run late in the evening as well.

Bryan Lee and the Blues Power Band

Bryan Lee played at the Old Absinthe Bar on Bourbon Street
NOLA for 15 years during the 80' and 90's . This was a gig
that went a long way to establish New Orleans as a blues
town as well as the granddaddy of jazz.
Guitarist and leader of the Jump Street Five Band at the
time, Bryan Lee was faithful to his loyal fans and the
music. Today Bryan Lee is still going strong, touring
across the US, Canada and Europe playing the blues with
the Blues Power Band.
He had the honor of performing with Kenny Wayne Shepherd
on his newest CD/DVD release Ten Days Out, the number one
blues album in the country last year, as announced by Jay
Leno for their live performance on The Tonight Show in
2007.

fall at the Jazz Emporium on Bourbon Street.
