Dan Sanchez performs Friday night!
Dan Sanchez and the Kings of Pleasure - Amazing,
spectacular, impressive, spirited. soulful. On any
given night, these are the words that will resonate as
the sounds from one of the most impressive musical
ensembles on the road today not only permeates a room,
but the souls of those there to witness it.
The kings
consist of Donald Durham, Jason Ball, Cody Lowery.
Sanchez and bassist Durham grew up together in Los
Angeles, California. In 2001, they decided to follow
their passion and make great music. A band was formed
and the tandem invited Ball to sit in on keyboards; he
has been playing piano as a king ever since. Don and
Cody's percussion fill out the rhythmic backbone of
the kings, sealing a sound that is both mesmerizing
and energizing.

Peter Karp performs Saturday night!
"Deadpan delivery,
charming looks, and an alluring charisma rarely found in
roots music - staying true to the music from a unique
perspective. Imagine the writing prowess of Hiatt,
Thompson, Prine, Newman and Zevon paired with the
musical veracity of Albert King, Elmore James and Chuck
Berry". It's Peter Karp's honesty that defines this
fresh face on a very old scene. His wit and character
are brought to life with whiskey-worn vocals and
stunning live performances. As an accomplished guitarist
and piano player who is equally comfortable on
harmonica, drums or mandolin he's a player's player but
it's Karp's knack for penning songs that truly defines
this prolific artist and places him in an elite class.
Raised between the rural trailer parks of Southern
Alabama and the swamps of North Jersey this Yankee/Rebel
mutt is a master songsmith with an art for spinning
true-to-life emotions, humor, and candor into tunes that
hit their intended mark - spot on!
