 John Wooton                                John Wooton and his famous calypso band, KAISO, bring the rhytmic sound of the islands to our stage Friday night!   A great way to kick off the official beginning of summer! 
 
Kaiso performs Caribbean jazz for your listening pleasure.  The shows usually progress to everyone crowding onto the dance floor and letting the light, tribal sound of the steel drums persuade their moves for a great time of celebration.
 
The lineup is John Wooton on steel drums, Sam Bruton on keyboards, Lowery Hicks on bass and Drew Wooton on drums.  It's okay to wear your island gear and to enjoy some tropical brew!

 Big Juv is led by Jackson blues man Virgil Brawley, who is accompanied by fellow blues star Byrd Lovell.
 
Virgil Brawley has represented Mississippi in the International Blues Competition in Memphis.  He has won the Mississippi single/duo Blues Competition held in Vicksburg.
 
The duo performs regularly at some of Jackson's hottest night spots, including Archestratus Grill, Fenian's Pub, The Mardi Gras Jazz Bar and the Alumni House.  These seasoned performers know how to deliver the blues, Mississippi style!
