Brady Roberts Memorial Pub Crawl - Friday night at 7:00 p.m.
Brady Roberts
Join us to help raise money for one of our favorite local musicians. Brady Roberts passed away at the end of May after a short fight with Leukemia. He performed in the Courtyard many times over the past three years and always put on a great show. He leaves behind a family, that without Brady will not have any income. Please help us raise money for his family and to help with medical bills.

All of the downtown bars will take part in the Brady Roberts Memorial Pub Crawl, with various fundraisers going on all over downtown.  Signup is at 7:00 p.m. outside the Bottling Company.

If you are unable to attend the Pub Crawl tomorrow night, please mail donations to The Brady Roberts Memorial Fund -  c/o The Bottling Company - 126 Mobile Street - 2nd Floor - Hattiesburg, MS 39401.

Come out and support a good cause for a man who loved this city a lot.

Shades of Green perform Friday night!
 Shades of Green
Shades of Green consists of the vocal and instrumental talents of Karen Waldrup and Elise Thornton. "Our project is primarily acoustic and we are proud to say that we developed our  style based on our differences as musicians."   Karen is originally from Mandeville, Louisiana. She currently lives in Hattiesburg and attends USM. She started singing when she was just 5 years old, taking any opportunities given to her, church and school choirs, church bands etc. Karen is an amazing vocalist, and even more importantly she is an amazing person with a wonderful spirit and a passion for music. She plays guitar and she is constantly writing new songs. "The first time I heard Karen sing I knew we would go somewhere together."    Elise is originally from Hattiesburg. She currently lives in Seminary and attends USM. She has been playing guitar for eight years and she is a local guitar teacher. She has been writing music for years and the first time they met, their musical careers collided! "Elise is not only my other half in my musical career, but also my best friend..." -Karen

The famous Mississippi and Louisiana Blues Band, Big Daddy Blue and the Red Hots, will perform Saturday night in the courtyard.   According to Mike Chambliss, Big Daddy Blue, "our sound has morphed from a traditional blues sound to a more modern approach that has been compared to Jimmy Thackery, Smokin' Joe Kubek, and Tinsley Ellis.
"Our song list continues to change, as we incorporate elements of southern R&B, swamp boogie, and even exposing our country roots on occasion. We play music that appeals to a wide range of audiences in very diverse places, from swanky restaurants to biker bars and everything in between.
