Dear Jennifer,
Lots of great things are happening at Walnut Circle Grill! Join us
this week for the best food, atmosphere and entertainment in
Hattiesburg. Enjoy an elegant dinner, meet your friends and
co-workers for lunch or enjoy the entertainment this weekend in our
'open-air' Courtyard. (Who doesn't LOVE to sit outside and enjoy the
cool night air this time of year!)

Returning July 30
We ended May with a weekend of jazz, starting with the Steve Lett Trio
on Friday night. This is such a fun group to experience! Three great
musicians and the beautiful Shandi Shiver singing jazz favorites like
you've never heard in Hattiesburg! If you missed them, they'll be back
at WCG on Friday, June 10, so mark your calendar!
Saturday night, the Chris Cortez Group had their debut at Walnut Circle
Grill and they were phenomenal. This has got to be one of the best jazz
groups I have ever heard 'live'. Chris has released four albums and has
a huge following, as evidenced by a search for him on the internet. They
will be back at WCG on Saturday, July 30. For more info, visit

There is a wealth of musical talent here in South Mississippi, much of
it undiscovered. If you want to take the stage, join Louie and Lloyd
Munn tonight for Open Mic Night!
Entertainment gets underway at 8:00 pm, so come early and enjoy a great
meal before the night starts rockin'!

Friday night, John Wooton and Kaiso will be stirring up a Caribbean
cocktail of calypso style music with a rhythmic dose of steel pans,
played by John Wooton. Kaiso plays a variety of styles including
calypso, soca, popular American, jazz, Salsa, samba, reggae, and funk.
If you can't make it to the islands this weekend, sitting in our
open-air courtyard listening to Kaiso while sipping a Margarita or a
cold beer has got to be a close second. Here's the lineup: John Wooton -
Pans, Sam Bruton - Piano, Drew Wooton - Drums. All friends are

You may have seen Cary Hudson perform last month at the Old Time
Festival. He's an extremely talented vocalist/guitarist whose music is a
mix of blues and mountain music. Another of Hattiesburg's musical gems.
