night in our Courtyard. Come prepared to relax and enjoy the cool night
air!
KAISO! performs instrumental sets for your listening pleasures and vocal sets that will have everyone dancing and jumping to the hottest Caribbean music in the south. The line up is: John Wooton - steel pans; Sam Bruton - piano; Lowery Hicks - bass; Drew Wooton - drums. John Wooton is Director of Percussion Studies at USM. Winner of the Telluride Acoustic Blues Competition
Steve Reynolds, winner of the 2003 Telluride Acoustic Blues Competition,
has just released his new CD “Downriver,” a lively album of story songs
laced with Reynolds’ trademark finger-style acoustic guitar work.
Steve’s previous release was entitled “Too Much Coffee”. His latest, “Downriver”, has a superb mix of songs that are engaging and entertaining. An accomplished singer-songwriter, Reynolds performs a variety of originals as well as some tried and true covers that take the listener on quite a journey. Bring a friend to enjoy some great music under the arboretum Saturday night! |
