| Fresh Mussels in White Wine and Garlic Sauce |
Our featured menu item for this week is Fresh Mussels in White Wine &
Garlic Sauce. We take fresh mussels and sautee them in a white wine and
garlic sauce and then serve them in the same heated sauce.
This dish is also available as an Entree with Marinara Sauce or spicey Fra Diablo Sauce served over a bed of Linguini. Fra Diablo is a very spicey combination of Marinara Sauce, Red Wine, Cayenne and crushed Red Peppers. Price dependent on market price. I had the privilege of dining on this delectable item tonight and was pleasantly surprised at the tender consistency of the mussels and the delightful taste. Everything that good seafood should be and nothing that it shouldn't be. It's all dependent on how it's cooked, and our chef seems to know what he's doing! If you love seafood...you'll love this dish! |

Walnut Street weldomed Miss Hospitality contestants from across the
state this week at Gordon Creek Deli and at The Walnut Room (pictured).
The state pageant is scheduled to be held Friday and Saturday nights at
