USDA Choice Grain-fed Beef

When you're in the mood for a great steak, your tastebuds can get pretty demanding. At Walnut Circle Grill, we use only the highest quality USDA Choice grain-fed beef. Our Filet Mignon is 8 ounces of Aged Black Angus Tenderloin served with a Caramelized Onion and Gargonzola Sauce. Our New York Strip is 16 ounces of Aged Black Angus Strip...savory, juicey and served with a Mushroom Ragu. Our Ribeye is 16 ounces of Prime Cut Black Angus Ribeye grilled to perfection to your specification and topped with Crawfish Butter.

Shrimp Scampi

One of our favorite dishes is our Shrimp Scampi. This delectable dish is made up of

Jumbo Shrimp served in a Lemon, Butter, Garlic and White Wine Sauce. While the dish is common in larger cities, like Miami or San Francisco, it is a rare find in smaller cities. We proudly ask you to compare ours to that served by any restaurant in the country and know that you'll be delighted! Ask your waiter to recommend a white wine to enjoy with this dish.

Lunch is served from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm Tuesday through Friday. Dinner is served from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm Tuesday through Thursday and from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm Friday and Saturday. We hope to see you soon!

Casual Fine Dining

Walnut Circle Grill was conceived as part of a family vision to rebuild downtown Hattiesburg.

Rich in history, the area had fallen to neglect while the city expanded westward.

The family began sketching ideas of what it 'could' look like and with a lot of work and financial investment, it began to take shape.

Mike McElroy, Jr. as Owner and Executive Chef had a vision for what he wanted to offer in the way of cuisine and atmosphere and Walnut Circle Grill took on the embodiment of that vision.

In 2004, the outdoor Courtyard was converted into a covered, open-air arboretum to enhance the practicality of offering live entertainment throughout the year.

The McElroy family's continuing commitment to downtown Hattiesburg has become an inspiration to area residents and to countless others interested in revitalization and preservation of historic areas.

In 2006, the "Award of Merit for New Streetscapes" was presented to the McElroy Family by the Mississippi Heritage Trust.
