Mississippi Bluesman 'T-Bone' Pruitt
'T-Bone' is back Saturday night in the Courtyard as he and his band
bring the Mississippi Blues to life. Tommie 'T-Bone' Pruitt is a 70 year
old Mississippi Blues artist who received notariety while playing with
The Five Royals, as listed in the Congressional Records.
Their music is archived at the University of Mississippi. He also played with Solomon Burke and was a bus driver for Bo Diddley. His current band has been performing together for over 15 years. I heard that he is getting ready to record a new CD, which I'm sure will land in the archives of the blues. Come out and see him perform live Saturday night! |

I thought about taking one of my books outside yesterday to study on my
deck, but, alas...there was work to be done. Having now heard that the
temperatures are taking a steep dive by the weekend, I'm going to try to
grab an hour to study while enjoying the sunshine this
afternoon...before it gets too cold!
You might want to grab your umbrellas Friday, and watch out for snow flurries. Saturday will be cool, too, but we've got heaters in the Courtyard, so dress for the weather and come enjoy some great music! I hope to see you there! |
