Deltamatics perform Friday night!
The Deltamatics perform Delta and Chicago
Style Electric Blues from the 1920s to the early 1960s using
vintage sound and looks.
Based in the Hub City. Dave and Tate have
been playing Blues together for over a decade. Stu came from Texas
via New York and Kansas a few years ago to play the Blues in
Mississippi.
Their new CD is entitled "TRUE GRITS" and contains 11 original
Deltamatics songs.
The
Delltamatics are Dave Allen on Vocals, Guitar and Harmonica;
Tate Thriffiley on Bass Guitar and Vocals; and Joey Odom on
drums. Vocals.

 Dr.
E and the Voodoo Kings perform Saturday
Originally from NYC, Dr. E has been playing
professionally for over 20 years. Prior to pursuing a PhD in
Behavioral Neuroscience, Dr. E played with many local and
nationally touring acts. Currently residing in Hattiesburg
Mississippi, Dr. E is a full time professor at USM in the
department of psychology. Most recently Dr. E can be seen
performing locally with Dr. E and the Voodoo Kings (chicago and
delta style blues, and blues based classic rock). You can also
catch Dr. E playing stripped-down acoustic; low down and dirty
blues (the music is a mixture of classy, fun blues and 50s style
R&B). During these bare-bones shows, Dr. E sings, plays slide
guitar, blows harmonica, and somehow still manages to keep the
beat on a bass drum. His live show is energetic and he really
knows how to work a crowd.

us for our New Year's Eve Gala!
The party kicks off at 7 pm with a Cocktail Hour and Hors D'ouvres.
We provide tickets for 2 free cocktails for every reservation.
Next is a 6 course wine-pairing dinner with an Appetizer, Soup,
Salad, 2 Entrees and Dessert!
Party favors and a Champagne Toast will help to ring in 2008 as
we celebrate the New Year!
Dance to DJ "Toast and Jam" who is back for a 3rd appearance at
our annual New Year's Gala!' Attire is semi-formal. Seating is
limited, so please make reservations early. Major credit cards
accepted.
