Oiginally from NYC, Dr. E has been playing professionally for over 20 years.

 

Prior to pursuing a PhD in Behavioral Neuroscience, Dr. E played with many local and nationally touring acts.

 

Currently residing in Hattiesburg Mississippi, Dr. E is a full time professor at USM in the department of psychology.

 

Most recently Dr. E can be seen performing locally with Dr. E and the Voodoo Kings (chicago and delta style blues, and blues based classic rock). You can also catch Dr. E playing stripped-down acoustic; low down and dirty blues (the music is a mixture of classy, fun blues and 50s style R&B). During these bare-bones shows, Dr. E sings, plays slide guitar, blows harmonica, and somehow still manages to keep the beat on a bass drum. His live show is energetic and he really knows how to work a crowd!
