Date announced for next Wine Dinner
Mirassou Winery   Tuesday, October 3 - Winemaker's Dinner Mirassou Wines
On Tuesday, October 3, Walnut Circle Grill will host a Winemaker's Dinner. Special Guest will be Steve Mirassou of Mirassou Winery in Modesto, California.

The Mirassou family has been growing grapes and crafting superior wines in the sun-drenched hills of California since 1854, earning the family the proud distinction of being America’s oldest winemaking family. 2004 marked an unprecedented 150 years of family winemaking. Join us in celebrating this family's rich history, optimistic spirit, and uniquely expressive wines.

Featured wines at this special event will be Mirassou Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.

Dinner courses include Osso Brucco and Smoked Gouda stuffed with a Merlot demi-glaze sauce as an appetizer. Dinner begins with Oyster Brie Soup, followed by Jeremy's Mandarin Salad. This is made with candied pecans, orange segments, dried cranberries, red onion and goat cheese on a bed of Spring mix and an Orange Pecan Vinaigrette dressing.

The entree will be a double-thick Prime Pork chop Arrabbiata, stuffed with hot Italian sausage and Ricotta Cheese and an Espagnole Sauce, accompanied by Potato Gratinee, Zucchini and Yellow Squash Medley. The evening will be capped off with a delicious Orange Torte for dessert. Make your reservations now for this exciting and delicious night with America's oldest winemaking family.
