KAISO! brings the rhythmic sounds of the islands to
Hattiesburg Saturday night in our Courtyard. Come
prepared to relax and enjoy the cool night air!
KAISO! performs Caribbean jazz for your listening
pleasures but the evening always progresses into
everyone dancing and jumping to the hottest Caribbean
music in the south.
The line up is: John Wooton - steel pans; Sam Bruton -
piano; Lowery Hicks - bass; Drew Wooton - drums. The

Tiger Rogers brings us new jazz
on Saturday night! |
Tiger
Rogers is a sought after saxophone player who has performed
with jazz combos around the state. His influences include
Miles Davis, Tony Allen, Fela Kuti, John Coltrane, Stevie
Wonder, Larry Panella, Chick Corea, Gustav Holst, Quincy
Jones and many more. From this broad array arises a nucleus
of one sound...pure jazz. Visit him on myspace where you'll
find a few of his own arrangements including "Solid Orange
Sound", "Babe Moses", "KingQueen of Yellow" and "The Plaquez". Tiger's
music is progressive, yet with roots that reach far into the
past to bring the sultry, thoughtful sounds that entice and
entertain all who experience his music.
