His smooth, sassy delivery of Mississippi bluesy rifts
trademarks the lifetime he has spent honing his craft.
At 75, his musical vitality is unparalled. He is surrounded
by the creme de la creme among his very talented younger band
members who make up the Rhythm Rockers. Who wouldn't jump at
the chance to gig with T-Bone Pruitt!! He's a living legend
and one of Mississippi's treasures.

Juv is led by Jackson blues man Virgil Brawley, who is
accompanied by fellow blues star Byrd Lovell.
Virgil Brawley has represented Mississippi in the
International Blues Competition in Memphis. He has won the
Mississippi single/duo Blues Competition held in
Vicksburg.
The duo performs regularly at some of Jackson's hottest
night spots, including Archestratus Grill, Fenian's Pub, The
Mardi Gras Jazz Bar and the Alumni House. These seasoned
performers know how to deliver the blues, Mississippi style!

A Midsummer's Daydream Concert Series
continues in historic downtown at WCG today and tomorrow only,
from Noon to 1 pm |
Enjoy your next lunch in historic downtown accompanied by the
soothing sounds of a string quartet from the University of
Southern Mississippi Symphony Orchestra.
The concert series takes place at historic downtown
restaurants through August between 12 noon and 1 pm Wednesday
through Friday.
