by Doc Severinsen. Featuring the Jimmy Mullen Orchestra, our
dinner theatre promises to be a nostalgic evening on some of the
best music from the 1960s and 1970s.

Wes Lee performs Friday night!
|
Wes Lee blends the tradition of many styles
of rhythm, blues, and soul music to create his sound. "Music
is all around us" claims Wes, " a journey that crosses all
cultures."
The journey has taken him to Hattiesburg, Ms. from St.
Louis, Mo. where he worked with the Dance, Soul, Showband
Pleasure Groove, Blues artists The Shifters, and other
various Rhythm and Blues artists.
The musical journey has also taken Wes from his hometown
of Mobile, Al., to cities and towns across the united
States and abroad to England. Wes has written and produced
2 cd's of original music, and has had the privilege of
sharing the stage with Tab Benoit, Tinsley Ellis, Vasti
Jackson, Kenny Neal, Deborah Coleman, and Lil Greenwood
among others.

Walnut Circle Grill is proud to be one of the food sponsors
at the Annual Wine Tasting and Auction to be held on
Saturday, August 15 - 7 to 10 p.m.at the Train Depot in
Historic Downtown Hattiesburg, The event is titled
"California Versus the World"
Participants will have the opportunity to bid on wonderful
auction items while sampling wines from around the world to
compare with California's best vintages.
Tickets are on sale now for the Annual Wine Tasting and
Auction, the area's premier wine tasting event to be held on
Saturday, August 15 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The exciting event will be held at the Train Depot in Historic
Downtown Hattiesburg, featuring a wide variety of wine from
all over the world with a Live Auction, Silent Auction, music
from a professional Violinist and live music from The Munn
Brother Band.
All proceeds from this event go to benefit the South
Mississippi Children's Center, the regions only emergency
placement shelter for runaway, homeless, abused and
neglected children and youth ages 9 to 17.
