Live @ Five returns to Town Square Park! 
Join us every Friday evening from 5pm - 9pm for free live music in the park.

Pine Belt Farmer's & Artisan's Market  in Town Square Park begins another delicious season on Thur. Apr. 2,  3 - 6 p.m.
Locally grown produce, hand-made products and homemade treats. Third Thursday each month will feature regionally known musicians performing traditional American music.

 Chris Barker is a seasoned, versatile musician and singer.  While often performing as a solo artist, he is seen playing bass and keyboards with many different bands including Castle Culture, the Classics, the Music Box, Soul Doctors, Wes Lee, and the Hub City Allstars.  He has also performed regularly with Vasti Jackson for the past 15 years. 
 
During his career, he has performed with or has opened shows for artists as diverse as Ray Price, Freddy Fender, Johnny Lee, Ace Cannon, the Producers, Steppenwolf, Gladys Knight, Katie Webster, and current lead singer of the Temptations, GC Cameron. 
 
He brings his brand of Blues, RnB, Rock, and New Orleans Funk to Walnut Circle Grill, Friday the 13th, with a band of veteran and talented musicians. Jeff Mills, who plays drums, performs with Kaiso, among other groups.  Dr. Joe Rapetti is on keyboards. He also performs with the Soul Doctors.  Robert "Phrawg" Conn fills out the band on guitar.  While he often plays with "Big Daddy Blue", Mike Chambliss, he is usually seen leading his own group, the Phrawg Conn Band.

Big Daddy Michael BlueThe famous Mississippi and Louisiana Blues Band, Big Daddy Blue and the Red Hots, will perform Saturday night in the courtyard.  
 

According to Mike Chambliss, Big Daddy Blue, "our sound has morphed from a traditional blues sound to a more modern approach that has been compared to Jimmy Thackery, Smokin' Joe Kubek, and Tinsley Ellis.

 

   
"Our song list continues to change, as we incorporate elements of southern R&B, swamp boogie, and even exposing our country roots on occasion.We play music that appeals to a wide range of audiences in very diverse places, from swanky restaurants to biker bars and everything in between!
