The band began playing as a group in December of 2005, but music has been a major part of the band members' lives long before the start of the Cowboy Blues Band. Each person brings his or her own style, favorite songs and genre to the group, making it a unique blend of style favorites such as rhythm and blues, rock and country.  The band has the ability to adapt to a crowd because of their wide variety of musical styles. They said that they want to give the crowd what they want.
 

"Being on stage is the best high," said band member Tim White. "As long as that dance floor is full, I'm happy."  The Cowboy Blues Band is Jessie "Bluesman" Howell - Lead Vocals,  Tim "The Cowboy" White -Vocals and Lead Guitar, J.C. " Uncle Howard" Dickens - Bass Guitar and Vocals, Lori Dickens - Keyboards, Synthesizers, and Strings, Johnny Glover - Drums and Brad "B.M."  Miller- Rhythm, Lead, and Slide Guitars.
